Aims and Objectives of the Program
  • To provide a route in the field of teaching in three stages.
  • Provides a body of knowledge, skills and understanding which may be used to underpin portfolio building for NVQ's in Training and Development.
Eligibility / Duration
  • We provide tuition to the people who have little or no teaching experience and want to up date their skills. The duration of the course is only one year for stage One and Two.

  • This qualification will equip a teacher to support a wide range of learners.
  • The teacher training course is nationally established as the foremost qualification for teachers in post-compulsory education and training.
You will be able to achieve the following:
  • Adopt an integrative approach to the theory and practice of teaching and training.
  • Reflect on your own experience, practice, skills and potential for development.
  • Build up knowledge of principles of learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation.
  • Apply a range of methods and techniques of teaching, learning, assessment and evaluation exploring such innovatory approaches as may be appropriate.
  • Analyze their own students’ abilities, potential and learning needs.
  • Develop their own communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Design, organize and evaluate teaching and learning programmer.
  • Adopt an innovative approach to collecting and using a wide range of teaching and learning resources.
  • Develop an awareness of their professional role, the essential value systems which underpin it and the legal requirements for carrying out that role.
Learning methods
  • Practical and theory based classroom assessment, handouts, exercises, group work, discussions, role play, demonstrations, group and individual tutorials.
Teaching placements
  • All candidates will be allocated teaching placements in various colleges across the UK, but mainly London.
On completion
  • You will receive a certificate for stage One.
  • You will receive a certificate for stage Two.
Fees
UK and EU nationals: £1,000.00
