International Students House
International Students House (ISH) provides long term accommodation for any full time student who is studying in London. This is an ideal opportunity to live in the heart of London in a lively multicultural environment. As well as living in your choice of a single or a shared room (all with telephones, fridges and broadband internet access), there are many other facilities available to you at ISH. These include a Fitness Centre, Welfare and Advice Service, Cybercafé, Bars and Restaurant. Social events run through each term and include cultural evenings, lectures and debates, parties and subsidised travel trips. ISH also runs a Christmas Programme with reduced rate accommodation for those students who are not returning home for the festive season.
Short term accommodation is available for when you first arrive in London and may need somewhere to stay before finding more permanent accommodation. ISH also offers accommodation for your visiting friends and family, and for when you return to London for your graduation.

All Buckingham College students are members of International Students House (ISH). This is free to you, the student, and allows you access to ISH to take advantage of the facilities and events they offer - just show your student card at the main entrance at 229 Great Portland Street, W1W 5PN.
ISH is a unique social, cultural and recreational centre in the heart of London open all year round – the ideal place to meet and make friends. Students from all over the world, including Britain, are welcome, which helps to make ISH truly multi-cultural and facilitates their mission of promoting global friendship and understanding.
ISH is where you can do anything! Well – within reason of course! There is something for everyone and as a member you can enjoy a large variety of events, activities, sports and hobbies in a safe, friendly and fun environment. Facilities include a Fitness Centre, Welfare and Advice Service, Cybercafé, Bars and Restaurant. Social events run through each term and include cultural evenings, lectures and debates, parties and subsidised travel trips in the UK and overseas. ISH also runs a Christmas Programme for those students who are not returning home for the festive season. Most of the activities are free as part of your membership, while a small fee is charged for some. Costs to you are kept as low as possible to ensure that you can participate in as much as you can.
